Applied psychology, used where it matters

Complex cases. Developing practitioners. Better practice systems.

Embark Potential helps practitioners, organisations, individuals and families turn difficult or unclear situations into a reasoned, practical pathway. We work at the level of the case, the practitioner and the system around the work.

Four ways we help

Start with the difficulty.

You do not need to choose the service perfectly. Tell us what is stuck, what decision is needed and what has already been tried. We will clarify fit before work begins.

01

Complex Case Consultation

A fixed-scope consultation when a case has stalled, become fragmented or remains difficult to understand.

We gather the relevant information, identify uncertainty and evidence gaps, and map the next practical steps. The agreed output may include a professional written report or decision document.

Discuss a complex case
02

Practitioner & Practice Development

Capability development through real work—not detached from it.

We work alongside early-career and experienced practitioners through mainly written case consultation, review and feedback. Organisations can use the same model for onboarding, report quality and stronger practice systems.

Develop a practitioner or practice
03

Guided Assessment Pathways

For people and families who do not yet know what assessment, report or service is actually needed.

Free screening comes first. If another service is more appropriate, we explain and support that referral. If Embark can help, the assessment, price, timing, report and follow-up are agreed before proceeding.

Start free screening
04

Evidence Synthesis & Practice Frameworks

For a defined scientific, clinical or practice question.

We locate and appraise relevant evidence, then translate it into an evidence brief, practice analysis, decision guide, framework or practical tool. Scope and method are agreed before work starts.

Request an evidence review

Guidance from first question to follow-through

A managed pathway—not simply a test.

We start by understanding the decision you are trying to make. Screening is free. If assessment is appropriate, we confirm exactly what will be assessed, what report is required, who it is for, the price and the expected timing before you commit.

Arman Naeini, Founder and Practice Leader at Embark Potential

Arman Naeini

Founder & Practice Leader

Registered Psychologist · AHPRA PSY0002636655

Arman’s work focuses on problems that exist at more than one level: the person’s difficulty, the way the case is understood, practitioner capability, team coordination and the service system surrounding the work.

At Embark, he leads complex-case consultation, practitioner and practice development, evidence work and the clinical governance of guided assessment pathways. He is not presented as a specialist in every service; his role is to clarify the problem, organise the right expertise and remain accountable for the work Embark agrees to lead.

Evidence and practice

Show the reasoning.

Embark publishes evidence briefs, practice analyses and conceptual work. We distinguish what the evidence supports, what remains uncertain and what the findings may mean for practice.

Start with the problem.

Tell us what is difficult, what has already been tried and what decision needs to be made. We will first consider fit and suggest an appropriate next step.
